Located on Rebero Hill in Kigali, the boutique hotel was founded by East African entrepreneur Sheila Kyarisiima.

The property was originally envisioned as a private family residence before being transformed into an exclusive hospitality destination that blends luxury, wellness, and panoramic views of the city.

According to TIME, the hilltop sanctuary offers "sweeping views over Kigali and complimentary in-suite massages upon arrival.” These include a saltwater infinity pool, spa facilities, padel courts, a four-lane bowling alley, and a Dolby Atmos cinema.

The property features nine uniquely designed guest rooms, each inspired by moments from Kyarisiima’s life and travels. One of the suites, dubbed "Lavish Lair,” draws inspiration from New York City, where the founder met her partner, reflecting the personal story behind the hotel’s design concept.

TIME also highlighted how the hotel mirrors Kigali’s broader transformation in recent years, with the city gaining attention for its sustainable urban development, growing creative scene, and expanding hospitality sector.
