CANAL+ Rwanda, a pay-TV provider, has launched its new campaign dubbed "Birenze Kureba, Biduha Vibes” on March 3, which its managers said is part of its commitment to delivering relevant entertainment programmes that goes beyond simply watching television.

The campaign, unveiled on March 2, is designed for everyone, from families to the fast-growing Gen Z audience to even farmers across far reaching areas to which it promises unforgettable memories and experiences that inspire dreams and delivers real vibes beyond the screen, the firm indicated.

Through this initiative, CANAL+ Rwanda, a subsidiary of CANAL+ International, said it aims to make quality and relevant entertainment accessible anytime and anywhere, regardless of age, background, or viewing preferences.

During the launch, Sophie Tchatchoua, Managing Director of CANAL+ Rwanda explained that subscribing to CANAL+ is not just watching TV but beyond everything including creating endless vibes and memories.

"It’s for everyone – Gen Z, farmers and all Rwandans and their household,” she said.

She stated that the firm’s esteemed subscribers can access CANAL+ contents through regular TV or App CANAL+ which is free download from google, indicating that it has more than 45,000 contents in reply and live.

"With the CANAL+ app, you can follow the big moments live, find your shows on replay even offline and discover our personalised recommendations on all your screens,” she said.

Tchatchoua observed that the new campaign strengthens the wide range of content offered, with more than 350 channels in the bouquet. These include sports, movies, series, documentaries, and various programmes that suit the needs of every subscriber, including educational content for children.

Flexible packages designed for various budgets and lifestyle

Through CANAL+ via Zacu TV (Channel 99 in Sub-Saharan Africa), viewers can watch 100 per cent Kinyarwanda-language, original, and exclusive Rwandan content, including popular local series such as Seburikoko, City Maid, Indoto, Ejo si Kera, and Inama, among others.

For subscribers, the IKIRENGA package costs Rwf35,000 and offers more than 350 TV and radio channels. Subscribers enjoy all available channels, including the 13 exclusive CANAL+ channels, with access to the best in sports, movies, series, and entertainment.

The package also includes exclusive services and the VIP offer.

The ZAMUKA NA SIPORO package costs Rwf20,000 and includes more than 320 channels, including the 13 exclusive CANAL+ channels, with a strong focus on sports and entertainment.

It costs Rwf10,000 and provides access to more than 300 TV and radio channels and offers a wide variety of content for the whole family, including sports, entertainment, children’s programmes, and African channels.

The IKAZE package, priced at Rwf6,000, includes more than 260 TV and radio channels. It offers a selection of family-friendly content, including series, entertainment, children’s programmes, music, African shows, and news.
