AZOMCO Vs UGB (3:30pm)
EAUR Vs REG (6pm)
Kepler Vs Patriots (8:30pm)
Kepler Basketball Club head coach Mandy Juruni will not be on the touchline when his side faces Patriots BBC on Wednesday at Petit Stade.
Assistant coach Aristide Mugabe will take charge of the team in Juruni’s absence, as the Ugandan tactician is away with Uganda for the FIBA 2027 World Cup qualifiers taking place in Alexandria, Egypt.
Mugabe will be aiming to guide Kepler to victory against his former side in what promises to be a competitive Rwanda Basketball League encounter.
The university side has won two of its opening four games and will be keen to improve its record against a Patriots team also searching for consistency.
Patriots, coached by Sunny Niyomugabo, have also registered two wins from four outings and will be targeting a strong performance to stay within reach of the league’s leading pack.
In other fixtures, East African University Rwanda (EAUR) take on Rwanda Energy Group (REG) in the early evening game, while AZOMCO open the day’s action against United Generation Basketball (UGB).
The first round of the season has already delivered surprises, with every team in the league suffering at least one defeat after five games—underlining the growing competitiveness of this year’s championship.
The most recent setback of the campaign unfolded when APR were stunned by RSSB Tigers in Sunday’s 80-90 defeat at BK Arena.
