Taxi conductors are being accused of ill treating their clients.

Editor,
I don’t know if forcing people to enter taxi’s is something that taxi drivers should be doing to make money.

This issue, of taxi touts and conductors using violent means to make people enter their taxi’s, has been on the decrease for sometime now; however, it seems to me that this practice is on the rise again.

Yesterday I was in a taxi on my way to town and it stopped by to pick up some people as is usual.  But even before the passengers would reveal where they were heading, the taxi conductor was already pulling the people into the vehicle.  I mean this is so rude.

How can you begin harassing someone because he/she does not want to board your vehicle?

To make matters worse, this fellow was extremely rude. He was screaming at them as if they had an obligation to get in. This wasn’t the first time this was happening. It’s total insanity.

So please, taxi conductor’s stand warned. This kind of behaviour shall bring censure one day.
