2007 national rugby league champions Gorillas have vowed to stop Buffaloes in today’s Buffaloes 7s tournament at Rugunga.

Gorillas’ coach Paul Boa has challenged his players to step up to the test in a tournament were Buffaloes are chasing for an unprecedented fourth successive title.

Although Buffaloes have dominated local rugby for the last two years, Boa thinks the former are in for a surprise.
"I have been studying that team (Buffaloes) and I have noticed some loopholes which we shall be concentrating on tomorrow (today).”

Eight teams will take part in the one-day event, with Grizzlies and Buffaloes fielding two teams each. The others include Sharks, Gorillas, Lion de fer and Simba.

Three trophies are on offer-Main Cup, Plate and Shield.
