Small forward Albert Odero scored a game-high 19 points to lead RSSB Tigers to a dominant 109–54 victory over Inspired Generation at Petit Stade on Sunday night.

The win propelled Henry Mwinuka’s Tigers to the top of the Rwanda Basketball League table, while newcomers Inspired Generation suffered their fourth consecutive defeat of the season under coach Duke Efufa.

Tigers controlled the game from the outset, winning all four quarters 34–14, 26–18, 19–17 and 30–5 on their way to a comfortable victory.

In another fixture, Kepler defeated East African University Rwanda (EAUR) 92–74. Kepler stormed to a 22–4 lead in the first quarter, but EAUR responded strongly to take the second quarter 24–17.

Mandy Juruni’s side regained control after the break, claiming the third and fourth quarters 26–25 and 27–21 respectively to seal the win.

Meanwhile, APR thrashed AZOMCO 98–49 to climb to second place with six points, one behind leaders Tigers.

In the women’s league, APR overwhelmed GS Marie Reine Rwaza 94–53, while Rwanda Energy Group (REG) recorded their fourth straight victory of the campaign with a commanding 113–59 win over IPRC Huye.
