The Mayor of Dakar, Abbas Fall, and his delegation who are on visit in Rwanda an Saturday, February 21, toured various sites across the City of Kigali.
During their visit to the Mpazi Rehousing Model in Gitega Sector in Nyarugenge District, the Mayor of the City of Kigali, Samuel Dusengiyumva, highlighted the Project as a transformative initiative addressing unplanned settlements within the sub-catchment area.

Through an in-situ upgrading approach, the project provides affordable, adequate housing to low- and middle-income households while promoting sustainable urban renewal.
The delegation also visited Nyandungu Eco-Park, urban wetland restored and converted into an eco-park spanning 121 hectares and home to diverse flora and fauna.
On Sunday morning, Mayors Sall and Dusengiyumva joined President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame during the bi-monthly Car Free Day, which was also attended by thousands of residents of the City of Kigali.
