President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame on Sunday, February 22, joined thousands of residents of the City of Kigali for the bi-monthly Car Free Day.

Major streets were closed to vehicles in the morning and turned over to people walking, jogging, cycling, and doing group exercises.

President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame took part in the bi-monthly Car Free Day, exercising alongside thousands of Kigali residents.

The President and First Lady greeted people along the way and paused for quick high-fives and smiles with children. The event, designed to promote healthy living and a greener city.

As February is Safer Internet Month, participants were also reminded of our collective responsibility to promote a safe and secure online environment for children, ensuring their protection and well-being in the digital space.
