Rwandan cyclist Vainqueur Masengesho will spearhead Benediction Cycling Team’s roster as club makes Tour du Rwanda return after four years.

The 18th edition of the race is scheduled for February 22 to March 1.

Masengesho, 24, headlines the continental side which returns to the country’s biggest cycling stage for the first time since 2022.

Fresh from being named Best Rwandan Rider at the 2025 African Cycling Excellence Awards (ACEA), Masengesho joins the team roster in top form as he looks to improve his seventh place finish during the previous edition.

Benediction’s five-man roster blends experience and local pedigree. On the team are also Moise Mugisha, who featured for Team Rwandain 2025, as well as Eric Manizabayo, Mike Uwiduhaye, and Jean Claude Nzafashwanayo.
