AFTER sweeping aside the Sharks 7-aside tournament, Rwanda’s rugby giants Buffaloes are already plotting for more silverware in this weekend’s Buffaloes Sevens tournament.

Eight teams will take part in the one-day event, with Grizzlies and Buffaloes fielding two teams each. The others include Sharks, Gorillas, Lion de fer and Simba.

Buffaloes coach Gerald Nsenga who has also been acting as Silverbacks (national team) caretaker coach told Times Sport that his team is not about to let go of the trophy they have won three consecutive times.

"We want to win it for a fourth time and I think that is enough incentive for my boys,” Nsenga said.

Three trophies will be on offer-Main cup, Plate and Shield.
Buffaloes are also the league champions.
