It recently hit my mind…why not come to terms with and learn to make the best out of our general community?

At least, we ought to be aware that the reason most of our lives are slowed down by despair and frustration over our endless worries is the fact that we’re blinded from the whole purpose of the network that our social and natural community are.

I believe God was immensely wise when He decided every one must have their own point of vulnerability.

Meaning, we’re all dependent on each other in one way or another.

Like it or not, we need to accept this and appreciate all that life brings with it; joy and tears, adversity and praise, comfort and discomfort, a position at the high table or one at the back seat; somehow this all works together to weave a full human being. If only we can look to the brighter side with sheer optimism for daily life situations, then maybe many sighs of frustration could turn into sighs of relief.

Sadly, it is not the case with most of us. Often, we prefer not to pay attention to those things that deserve the benefit of appreciation but rather focus on all kinds of flaws and weakness that surround us (which we should know will always be there).

Yet this is a real hindrance to the happiness, peace and contentment we’re so desperate to settle with.

Imagine waking up in the morning, looking in the mirror and saying "thank you God for this beautiful creation,” looking at the people around you; be it friends classmates, fellow pedestrians, workmates and family, and you know there would be no ‘world’ without them present, taking time to find out what makes someone else happy so you can make good use of your pride, walking in some garden or field simply admiring the beauty and life that nature defines and so much more!

Then, this is when you’ll have seen with deeper sight. What connects you to the puzzle of life is…you, because you are simply a part of the whole jigsaw.

A missing piece and a lonely wanderer, you’d be if you were off from it. It is a humble position to embrace our community, society and environment just as it is!

If 2010 is to be called ‘different’ then I figure it has got to be with a ‘different’ attitude and view of the world around us.

A world with a new sense of tolerance, understanding, insight, integrity and maturity altogether.
