NATIONAL Volleyball champions APR are on the verge of signing KVC’s spiker Christophe Mukunzi .

The 21-year-old, who has outstanding for KVC last season has expressed his interest in joining the champions this season although KVC head coach Jean Marie Nsengiyumva insists that the player is staying.

"He is still a KVC player because he is still under contract with us,” he reasoned. However, reports from APR indicate that the player is already training with the army side and that a deal is going to be finalised soon.

Mukunzi, who has also played for the national team in the past, was the driving force behind KVC’s 2009 Coupe de Rwanda success. It is said that KVC want Rwf4m for the player.
