RAYON Sport coach Baptista Kayiranga is hoping that his team will go top of the league table with victory over Electrogaz this afternoon at Regional stadium.

The Blues have been embroiled in financial woes after it was revealed that their players had not been paid for the last two months but the mess eased this week, when the players started training after the club promised to pay their arrears.

Though the club administrators had not come good on their promise by press time, Kayiranga is optimistic that the players will put their problems behind and concentrate on getting a win against Electrogaz.

"They have trained for the past three days and they are 90% fit. By tomorrow (Saturday), they will be in shape to play Electrogaz.

"Our target is to get a win and hope that Etincelles slip up,” Kayiranga said.

Rayon Sport are currently in third place, three points adrift of APR and Etincelles. APR are not in league action this weekend while Etincelles face a tricky away tie against Amagaju.

The blues hope that a win coupled by their superior goal difference will move them top of the league.
