White meat, for real people

White meat refers to lighter coloured meat, always contrasted to red meat.

Poultry and rabbit are generally considered white meat, while meat of large adult mammals like sheep, mutton is red meat. The definition betrays red meat, anyway, who would prefer the meat of over grown mammals to delicious poultry birds?

No wonder red is called dark meat! White meat has all round advantages; right from its preparation to digestion in the bodies.

And if you asked me why swine flue spread like a bush fire, definitely it’s because of the high demand surrounding pork.  When it comes to the taste, white meat passes the test with flying colours.

How many of you visit the beach not for swimming, but for fish? And why are turkeys famous for thanks giving and Christmas? Can you forego chicken for beef?

We should admit that white meat is too delicious to be ignored. That’s why white meat prices are higher, in restaurants and at the market. Money used to buy four kilograms of beef can buy only one chicken.

According to a study, conducted by The National Cancer Institute {In the U.S}, people who choose red meat over white meat on a regular basis have a higher chance of dying of many types of causes than white meat customary eaters.

They have a higher risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.

Before you eat that steak, be informed that a lot of red meat is considered to be a risk factor for developing colon cancer.  Consuming red meat, on average, twice a day increases the risk of stomach cancer, scientific findings have it.

This danger is even increased when the meat is barbecued and well done. Why risk your life by consuming toxins that you very well know will harm your body in the long run?

On the contrary, though it has a percentage of fat content, well prepared white meat has very low health hazards. And with usual accompaniment like lemon, fruits, salad and bacon, white meat gives the body added values.

It’s also possible to reduce on white meat fat during preparation, which is never the case with red meat. For instance, removing a chicken’s fore skin or while dry frying pork rids it of the extra oil.

Meanwhile, this developing generation has provided lots of options. One doesn’t have to rely on beef as the right barbecue, fish, chicken and rabbits can as well be roasted.

When it comes to preparation, white meat gives less trouble. On average, spiced chicken will be ready in 20 minutes and fish in less than 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, you might take forever boiling or frying beef from extremely old cattle. Why suffer with rock hard meat that will need an axe to slice it anyway?

Toddlers,children,toothless old people can all have their share on white meat without any complications, because of its softness.Meanwhile,you will lose a tooth trying hard to pull that hard beef off the bone.

Anyway, if not given quality preparation, even red meat stew sucks! The smell of blood, only reminds some of us of animals when they are being slaughtered. No wonder I completely gave up on beef.

Red meet is only for misers, people who can’t part with a single coin to have a worthwhile meal.Otherwise, who can avoid the fresh aroma that chicken brings to the house.

Maybe if its for religious reasons, I understand, otherwise, pork, chicken, fish is the way to go.
