RWAMAGANA – Thousands of people led by a group of clergymen living with HIV/AIDS, held a demonstration against the pandemic in Rwamagana town yesterday.

The demonstration which went around the city attracted people of all walks with one message of fighting the spread of the pandemic.

Pastor Senesias Gakwerere who lives with HIV/AIDS said that silence against HIV can no longer be supported.

"It is the duty of some of us living with the disease to take the upper hand in the fight. If people can’t abstain, let them use condoms,” he said.

After the long march around the town, the Pastors demonstrated how condoms both male and female are used.
