Amavubi stars’ midfielder Olivier Karekezi is part of the Helsingborg squad that traveled to France for tonight’s Uefa Cup tie against Bordeaux.

Despite sitting out of Helsingborg’s 3-0 home win over FK Austria 3-0, there is a good chance that he will be fielded since Helsingborg is already through to the last 32.

The two sides have never met in the UEFA club competition but Bordeaux have played three games against Swedish sides, winning them all. Helsingborg’s only previous trip to France saw them lose 4-1 at Paris Saint-Germain Fc in a 2000/01 UEFA Champions League first group stage game. They drew the home fixture 1-1.

A draw against Helsingborg will see Bordeaux through to the round of 32 after winning its opening two ties.
