Governor cautions on divisionary politicians

MUSANZE – The Governor of Northern Province, Aime Bosenibamwe, has cautioned residents against getting involved in divisionary politics, saying they should value their hard earned peace. “You know where we have come from, the effects of the insurgency which hit this area, and the efforts it has taken Rwandans to recover. We should therefore be careful about people who are coming to divide us, we are not ready to get back to the dark days,’’ Bosenibamwe said.

MUSANZE – The Governor of Northern Province, Aime Bosenibamwe, has cautioned residents against getting involved in divisionary politics, saying they should value their hard earned peace.

"You know where we have come from, the effects of the insurgency which hit this area, and the efforts it has taken Rwandans to recover. We should therefore be careful about people who are coming to divide us, we are not ready to get back to the dark days,’’ Bosenibamwe said.

He was yesterday addressing town residents during a meeting to assess the development projects in the area.

He challenged the politicians to avoid statements which will hamper the progress the country has gained 15 years after the genocide.
