Speaking about the project in a post on X, on January 16, the Minister of State for Infrastructure, Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye, described the development as a major addition to the city’s skyline.
"Kigali’s building another marvel... Parklane Center! Yesterday with City of Kigali Mayor we officially broke ground on a 25‑storey mixed‑use tower that will reshape our skyline,” he said.
According to Uwihanganye, the complex will feature a five-star hotel with a penthouse, modern office spaces, and the country’s first 25-metre infinity pool suspended on the 15th floor. The development will also include a bridge directly connecting it to Kigali Convention Centre – a major conference centre in the country.
"This is more than a building—it is a symbol of Rwanda’s ambition and the future we are creating for our cities,” he added.
