In 2021, Santiago played a key role in guiding the Puerto Rican national team to the 2021 North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) Championship, a historic triumph that earned the country its first-ever gold medal at the tournament.

That victory also secured Puerto Rico an automatic qualification spot for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball World Championship in Russia.

The new signing is instead expected to be part of the squad for Kepler’s next outing on January 24, when they face Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC).
