Kepler Volleyball Club have completed the signing of Puerto Rican opposite hitter Jair Santiago on a short-term contract that will run until the end of the 2025/26 Rwanda Volleyball League season in April.
Santiago joins the club as a reinforcement following the departure of former team captain David Neeke.

The Puerto Rican player previously featured for Patriotas de Lares in his home country. He is expected to add depth and firepower to Kepler’s attack.
In 2021, Santiago played a key role in guiding the Puerto Rican national team to the 2021 North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) Championship, a historic triumph that earned the country its first-ever gold medal at the tournament.
That victory also secured Puerto Rico an automatic qualification spot for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball World Championship in Russia.

Kepler VC faces a busy schedule this weekend, with fixtures against Rwanda Energy Group (REG) on Friday and Kirehe VC on Sunday. However, Santiago is not expected to be available for those matches.
The new signing is instead expected to be part of the squad for Kepler’s next outing on January 24, when they face Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC).
