Tigers Basketball Club have completed the signing of Bruno Nyamwasa from Patriots and Olivier Shyaka from Rwanda Energy Group (REG) on two-year contracts.
Shyaka, a 30-year-old forward has played for REG since 2018, while Nyamwasa, a 29-year-old shooting guard has been at Patriots since 2022.

Since joining REG, Shyaka has been a key figure for the club. He won his first national championship in the 2020-21 season and was named league MVP after an outstanding finals performance, scoring 30 points in Game 1 and adding 22 points in Game 2.
Shyaka has also represented the national basketball team on several occasions.

Meanwhile, Nyamwasa is an experienced guard who has featured for clubs including IPRC-Kigali and Espoir, before joining the Patriots.
