KCC to meet stakeholders

Kigali City Council (KCC) will today hold a one-day meeting with all the city’s stakeholders to plan the way forward for the fast growing city. KCC Media and Communication Director, Bruno Rangira, the assembly has a variety of issues set for discussion.

Kigali City Council (KCC) will today hold a one-day meeting with all the city’s stakeholders to plan the way forward for the fast growing city.

KCC Media and Communication Director, Bruno Rangira, the assembly has a variety of issues set for discussion.

"They will discuss issues concerning land, hygiene, maintenance of infrastructure, security and the forthcoming presidential elections.”

Those invited include local leaders from the cell to district level, representatives of the private sector, civil society and opinion leaders.

The assembly that is held twice a year also evaluates the ongoing performance of the different projects being implemented in the City. 

Rangira also revealed that the dialogue will discuss the 24-hour business operation initiative that has failed to get off the ground.

The meet is scheduled to take place at ULK University grounds at Gisozi.
