The Office dress code is what mirrors the work culture of a given company. It builds sense integrity within workers and motivates them to perform their duties with confidence.

Depending on a certain job, dress codes vary. However, most companies opt for the formal look.

Office Dress Code for Women

The attire;
What women wear should look smart on them irrespective of their work place. Their attire should at least include formal skirt suites or pant suites. Alternatively a neat cotton shirt with a pair of pressed trousers or suites will do.

Avoid going for flashy colors or stylish cuts suitable for parties.

Make-up
Keep make up to a minimum when heading for the office. Most women wear black eye liners and neutral color lip gloss, which makes them presentable, without overdoing it.

Jewelry
If you cannot do without jewelry, then a pair of simple ear rings, a chain or a bracetlet would be fine. Restrain yourself from wearing chunky jewelry, multiple ear rings, nose rings, or bangles to work.

Scent
The scent of a woman is irresistible. A floral or fruity fragrance completes your office look.

Office Dress Code for men:

Attire
Office dress code for most men is a formal suit. Men can choose between single breasted or double breasted suits, depending on your physical frame and personality.

Where the suite is not applicable, men can go for full sleeve formal shirts with a printed tie and cufflinks. It’s always advisable to go for solid colors, checks would also be fine.

Jewelry
No need to get flashy with shiny bling. Men can keep it cool with a wristwatch or metal or leather bracelet for jewelry. The bling is perfect for the weekend.

Scent
A man’s choice of after shaves or cologne speaks of personality. It is advisable to go for scents with a soft, soothing, yet a strong masculine note.

Casual Friday

No office dress code is complete without a few options for the "Casual Friday.”At least any company will scale down and permit the office dress code to include v-neck sweaters, cardigans, jeans, low heels, sporty capes, sneakers and t-shirts.

This is what workers need to transition from the work week to the weekend.
