Al Hilal FC striker Emmanuel Flomo has set his sights on becoming the top scorer of the current season of the Rwanda Premier League (RPL).
The Liberian forward, who has scored six times in nine league matches despite starting only twice, said he is focused on contributing whenever called upon.
"I am enjoying my game so far. Whether I start or come off the bench, I do what the coach asks. The league is tough, but I am ready to give my all in the next matches,” he noted.
Flomo is currently one goal behind Marines striker Taiba Mbonyumwami, who leads the scoring charts with seven goals. He is level with Lola Kanda Moise and Hussein ‘Tchabalala’ Shaban in the race for the golden boot.
The forward has emerged as one of the league’s most effective impact substitutes. On Monday evening, he came off the bench to score twice in Al Hilal’s 4–2 win over AS Kigali at Kigali Pelé Stadium. His goals in the 71st and 89th minutes sealed all three points.
"I want to score more goals and achieve something special, but the most important thing is helping my team win as many matches as possible,” he added.
The brace was Flomo’s second of the season and took his tally to six goals. Since joining Al Hilal from Liberian side LISCR FC in October 2025, he has impressed with his efficiency in limited minutes.
His goals against AS Kigali followed another decisive cameo earlier in the season, when he scored a stoppage-time equaliser off the bench in a draw against Marines.
Al Hilal now have 17 points from nine matches and sit 12th on the league table.
