As Kigali prepares to usher in the New Year, several Rwandan DJs and musicians are set to headline a New Year’s Eve concert dubbed The Last Swing, scheduled for December 31 at Kigali Golf Resort & Villas.
The event comes as end-of-year celebrations continue to gain prominence on Kigali’s entertainment calendar, offering a blend of live performances and DJ-led sets as revelers count down to the New Year.
Among the live acts expected on stage are Element Eleeh, Kenny Sol, Chriss Eazy and Kivumbi King—four artistes who have maintained a strong presence on Rwanda’s music scene through consistent releases and performances over the past year. Their inclusion adds to the growing list of local stars leading year-end shows across the capital.
The DJ lineup will be led by DJ Marnaud, a familiar name in Kigali’s nightlife scene, alongside DJ Higa, DJ Inno and DJ Chriss. The DJs will provide music throughout the evening as the event runs from 6:00 PM into the late hours.
According to organisers, Sensitive Ltd, The Last Swing will be open to both Kigali Golf Resort & Villas members and non-members.
Entry fees have been set at Rwf 100,000 for non-members, while guests opting for a barbecue experience can purchase a package for two priced at Rwf 40,000.
The event joins a host of other end-of-year celebrations planned across Kigali, including The Last Night, which will feature Kevin Kade, Christopher, US-based Rwandan singer Shaffy and Tanzanian star Ali Kiba. The concert will also mark a special milestone for Kevin Kade, who will be celebrating five years in the music industry.
