Ngare is a motorbike mania. He is always with his bike where expected and where not expected. You will find him crisscrossing the city any time of the day or night.

His bike produces such a loud noise that it has become such a nuisance in the city. He likes to show off. His hands are clad in black gloves and he wears black calf-long boots. On his head is a black helmet, black leather three piece top and tight black jeans.

He is a lover boy, an idler and loves leisure thanks to his two sisters who live abroad. They are the ones who spoil Ngare with handouts every month. He squanders whatever he gets with his parasitic pals. He was unable to continue with his higher education since he was un-collegeable. He is simply impish and plays by his own rules.

His parents joined their daughters abroad leaving Ngare behind to look after the family’s assets. Ngare has on many occasions tried to get visa to visit his family members overseas but has been denied.

His records with the immigration department have been tainted since he has been involved in various scandals with the local authorities.

Ngare being the only one looking after his parent’s property and being the only son in his family feels pompous. He is well taken care of by the family since he is their ‘eye’ locally. He feels important and uses every trick within his reach to get whatever he wants from them.

Oblivious to the kind of life Ngare lives, they keep on pumping money to his account more often than not.
"Carelessness doesn’t bounce; it shatters.” Said Hartman Jule.

True to his words, all has seemingly been going well until recently when he had an accident. He was on his daily routine drinking spree on the night the accident occurred. He as usual that midnight engaged a girl and gave her a ride to his place. It was on their way home that the unusual happened.

He slammed on the back of a moving truck and fell down. His passenger was not injured but he sustained serious injuries.

Ngare’s girlfriend had to literally run helter-skelter to save his life that night. She luckily got a cab and used it to rush Ngare to the nearest hospital. He was in serious pain and had to be taken to the Intensive Care Unit.

The doctor recommended that he be operated. Unknown to his girlfriend Ngare was hit by an object in his stomach. The operation was successfully done but he was admitted in the hospital for a fortnight.

On learning of the accident, Ngare’s two sisters flew back to check on their brother’s condition. They found him at ward four where all the fracture cases were referred. He was on drip and his voice was faint.

The two sisters started sobbing for their injured brother. They gave Ngare a ‘quick recovery’ note from their parents. The parents did not see the need of coming since the two sisters were to relay the message back to them.

At the bedside, there was a lady who was giving Ngare an unprecedented assistance. It did not amuse the two sisters since Ngare had never mentioned at any one time that he had married or that he is engaged for that matter.

Girls in the neighbourhood loved to rub shoulders with Ngare since at the end of the day, they would part with some cash from him. He was extra generous to them and readily gave them money just to show how invincible he is.

"Would you mind to let us know who you are?” one of Ngare’s sisters asked the lady seated at the bedside. She pretended not to have heard the question and continued massaging Ngare on his back.

"Madam, please, we want to know how you are related to Ngare,” the other sister intervened. "He is my man,” the lady answered with her countenance showing disinterest in their interrogation.

Word went around that Ngare had an accident and that he was admitted in the hospital. Some of his parasitic friends paid him a visit while others snubbed.

Every girl that had gone for a night out with Ngare came to see him. Each in their minds wanted to show Ngare how much they care so as perhaps when he recovered, he could pick one for good.

Drama unfolded in the hospital while Ngare’s sisters witnessed. The girl who was with Ngare at the night of the accident literally possessed Ngare claiming that were it not for her, the man would have been long dead.

Her competitors couldn’t swallow that and had to remind her that the night prior to the accident, Ngare spent the night with one of them.

Hell broke loose at ward four and all the girls had to literally be chased away by the guards except for the two sisters who by now were dumbfounded by the turn of events.

They got the bigger picture which they didn’t have of how their brother was lavishly using their hard earned money.
They decided once they flew back, they would cut down the handouts they send.

Like the medicine Ngare was getting from the hospital, so would be the handouts, they resolved. (1x2)One times two a month.

He was required to be sending a budget at the beginning of every month and at the end of the month to give an account of how much he has used.
