US-based Rwandan gospel artistes Patient Bizimana and Tumaini Byinshi return to the stage on December 20 after agreeing to headline a joint live worship concert in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dubbed ‘Ni Yesu’, the concert is expected to bring together Rwandans and worshippers from the US diaspora for an evening of praise, thanksgiving, and prayer as 2025 draws to a close.

Bizimana told The New Times that the event goes beyond music, describing it as a moment of deep spiritual reflection and gratitude.
"I have prepared well, both technically and spiritually. My heart is ready to worship God together with His children living in Arizona,” Bizimana said.
"It will be a great opportunity to thank God for His protection throughout 2025 and to pray for 2026. This is a program with meaning for everyone. That’s why it is called ‘Ni Yesu’ (It is Jesus). He alone is the one we will lift up in honour.”
The two artistes will be sharing the stage for the third time, a collaboration that Byinshi describes as a spiritually enriching partnership.
"For the third time, I will be on stage with Patient as we worship God. I found him to be a man of God and a true worshipper. He is among those who supported my calling over the past 12 years,” Byinshi said, adding that the concert is intended as a moment of collective gratitude and joy for the community.
"We named the program ‘Ni Yesu’ to thank God for His protection throughout the year we have completed, and we are happy to share this joyful moment with everyone who attends.”
The worship night will also feature gospel minister Eric Kadogo, adding further depth to the experience.
