Etincelles Vs Al Merrikh

Al Merrikh SC will be looking to keep their fine run of form going when they visit Etincelles FC at Umuganda Stadium in the Rwanda Premier League.

Unbeaten in their last four matches, the Sudanese side currently sits ninth on the table with 15 points from seven games. After a slow start to their debut campaign in Rwanda, Al Merrikh have begun to find their rhythm.

Striker Daouda Ba, who recently scored against Marine FC and SC Kiyovu, said the team is gradually adapting to the demands of the league.

"We started slowly, but we are adapting well to the league. We must keep the same spirit because every game is quite tough,” Ba said.

"Everyone must be ready for this match, and we are prepared.”

On the other hand, Etincelles FC come into the fixture full of confidence after a resounding 3-1 victory over Musanze FC. Head coach Djuma Masudi has urged his players to build on that momentum and make full use of their home advantage.

"We must maintain the winning spirit. We are facing a strong team, but we must be ready and try to maximize our chances to get a good result,” Masudi said.
