Thank God the days are finally gone how I thought they would never come to an end.

The festive season is all about having fun with your family and mostly the people you have actually spent much time without seeing; it is a reunion in short therefore having no one to reunite with can be quite absurd.

It was the most horrible experience in my life spending Christmas away from home moreover in a place where I got no one to invite me out for the day.

I kept thinking some one would send me a card or a text to invite me to join them for the festive season but all in vain.
Friends told me of how they will be attending to their relatives’ weddings but i was still not invited.

I even tried asking them for their plans for the day but I only got cold responses. On the Eve is when it actually sunk in that I finally had to spend the whole day in the house all alone with no one to talk to.

It was so terrible, felt like an orphan that had no one to run to and only my self. Spending such moments away from home in a place where you accidentally discover no one is concerned about your presence made me so sick.

I thought of putting up a Christmas tree and decorate it to probably pretend things are normal but my emotions fought me all this was escapism.

On Christmas at around mid day is when I realized I was at the verge of crying and yet would have no one to offer  me a shoulder to lean on i decided to create my own fun. I got of the house and decided to go to town and look at what is happening there.

I took my self out to a good restaurant had my best dish, to my surprise I found there were other people that had no families to join too. We made our own family then to make up for the lost fun.

Well for the friends that forgot about me I am glad to tell you, I had nothing to lose after all my new family made me wonders.
