Personal grooming (also called titivating and preening) is the art of cleaning, grooming, and maintaining parts of the body.  Grooming in humans typically includes bathroom activities such as primping: washing and cleaning the hair, combing it to extract tangles, and styling.

It can also include cosmetic care of the body, such as shaving  and cutting nails.

For years, even the concept of a man grooming was seen as something ‘real’ men didn’t do. They just got on with it, after a quick shave and a comb.

But then men were freed from the idea that they can’t look good. Now, even the most red-blooded male can appreciate a good close shave, an attractive scent, or even a little help when nature lets them down.

Men’s grooming is no longer seen as strange or unusual; instead it’s guys feeling good about themselves.

It is almost common to now see a man walk into a salon comfortably to ask for a pedicure and a manicure treatment.

These men used to be called "queer” but now every civilised man wants to groom himself to the last hair on his body.

Let us look at the most essentials things that can guide one into personal grooming. Remember you don’t have to pay lots of money in the salons every other weekend, but one can also buy and keep the same at home and use for your personal grooming.
