RWANDA’S DRILL SENSATION Ish Kevin announced that his long awaited fifth extended play (EP) will premiere on all streaming platforms on Friday, December 2.

It is after the pioneer of Trappish music dropped ‘Long Way’ which is the first song on the Ep’s track-list to be out ahead of the official release.

Speaking to The New Times about the upcoming EP, Ish Kevin said that the upcoming EP is his comeback in the music industry after spending a couple of months dealing with hardships in his music career, including a surgery that made him disappear for a while.

"This project means a lot to me because it’s my comeback after months without releasing,” he said adding, " the reason behind naming my new EP ‘Long Way Up’ is because it will take everyone listening to it through my journey from the beginning to where I want it to be. It’s one of the best projects I have ever produced in my life.”

The forthcoming EP from the Drill, Hiphop and Trap specialist marks his fifth extended play following Drill Movement 1 that was released in 2021.

Ish Kevin featured only young artistes on the EP including Juno Kizigenza, Kenny Kshot, Og2tone, Ririmba and Logan Joe.

The 4-track Ep debuts next Friday, November 2, on all major streaming platforms including YouTube and Spotify.
