I want to congratulate all the proud parents whose bundles of joy share a birthdate with Jesus Christ. According to The Sunday Times, in a mini survey it conducted in Kigali’s hospitals, 33 babies were born on Christmas day but the number could be bigger across the country.

Every single one of those children is special. Not because they were born on the 25th of December, but because they are the future of this great nation.

They, along with all their counterparts, will make this nation even greater. That is my sincere wish.
