Editor,

While it’s true that we are wrapping up the year 2009 and have the year 2010 in our sights, we shouldn’t forget that we have a lot to do before the year 2020. But let us look back to this year.

This year has been full of great achievements at different levels and in aspects. Some of the achievements have been highlighted because of their paramount importance; however other achievements have been forgotten by all and sundry.

The fact of the matter is that even these various achievements still belong to us.

It’s at this juncture that I would like to pass a vote of thanks to the management of the East African Television "the number one youth channel” for included the Rwandan flag on their logo.

I guess you all realized how the colors and the golden sun rays of our flag made the logo look more beautiful than before.

To me, this reflects Rwanda’s compatibility with the other nations in the region as we move towards a common goal. Together we shall stand. divided we shall collapse.

Bravo EATV! I hope you have more in store for us next year. We do wish you a happy 2010.
