On Christmas eve, furious fans wondered why their favourite local artistes; Diplomat and Shanel did not turn up for upcoming star, Meddy’s album launch at Petit Stade.

The "Umucakara w’ibihe” singer, who didn’t get the high recognition he wanted, claimed that; "Personally, I can’t invite Meddy to my album-launch without giving him much emphasis.

But he never gave me that, and that’s why I intentionally refused to attend his show,” said Diplomat.

Songbird/award winning actress Shanel said, adding, "I regret for not turning up on time for Meddy’s concert.

I was caught up with other responsibilities, but I do respect Meddy’s talent and his fans.”
