FOOD FOR THOUGHT : Master the art of time management

I remember when I was growing up, my teachers in primary used to tell us that time is money but until I was old enough that is when I understood what it meant.I have realized that what you get at the end of the day depends greatly on how you have managed your time. So many people wish they had used their time very well but it is too late to run after it. They have regretted but they are too old to do the things they would have done when they had the time to.

I remember when I was growing up, my teachers in primary used to tell us that time is money but until I was old enough that is when I understood what it meant.

I have realized that what you get at the end of the day depends greatly on how you have managed your time.
So many people wish they had used their time very well but it is too late to run after it. They have regretted but they are too old to do the things they would have done when they had the time to.

Each minute that passes by can never return, it goes in the history basket. What you failed to do a few minutes back will probably be done but at wrong time.

"Often times we do things simply because we want to do them or maybe because we are too carried away at the moment.  If we achieve what we want, we call that luck and if it is not luck then we learn that there is more for us to learn,” wrote Robert Green in his book ‘the 48 laws of power’.

‘There is always time for everything. Knowing how to act is equally important as knowing when to act. Always be patient  but  be careful to wait long don’t be afraid to take chances when you feel the right time has come and respond before you get yourself on  a sinking ship,’ Robert says.

Never do things against the clock. Always give yourself ample time; rushing will only make you look unprofessional and more importantly you will make stupid decisions which will make you lose what you have worked for.

Never panic when given insufficient time. Panicking will only make things worse and also create more problems that will require you to fix and thus use more time.

Do not create impossible situations for self always learn to set and define your priorities. Avoid distractions and lack of focus.

Remember time is irreplaceable once gone it is forever lost.
