Governor Bosenibamwe demands more from his local leaders

MUSANZE – The Governor of Northern province, Aime Bosenibamwe, has challenged local government leaders to embark on strengthening initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty. Bosenibamwe said that there should be a strong partnership between the leaders and the local population in promoting economic transformation especially in making better use of land and crop consolidation initiatives.

MUSANZE – The Governor of Northern province, Aime Bosenibamwe, has challenged local government leaders to embark on strengthening initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty.

Bosenibamwe said that there should be a strong partnership between the leaders and the local population in promoting economic transformation especially in making better use of land and crop consolidation initiatives. 

While appearing on a local radio station in Musanze district, the Governor who was been in office for six months said that the province has made huge progress in bringing security while working to uproot genocide ideology.

He also ordered the health inspection teams in Ruhengeri town to immediately close down restaurants and bars whose toilets were reportedly in poor state.
