RRF delay league prize awarding ceremony

Rwanda Rugby Federation (RRF) has confirmed that the prize giving ceremony for this year’s national league champion will take place next year. According to Gerard Nsenga, RRF vice president and the national team head coach, the federation has been engaged in regional tournaments for the last two months and had no time to plan for the prize giving.

Rwanda Rugby Federation (RRF) has confirmed that the prize giving ceremony for this year’s national league champion will take place next year.

According to Gerard Nsenga, RRF vice president and the national team head coach, the federation has been engaged in regional tournaments for the last two months and had no time to plan for the prize giving.

"The champion will be crowned around mid next month when everything is in place. We are sitting this morning to plan, and also there is still more action in the 7 asides,” said Nsenga.

Nsenga, who also doubles as coach of the league winners, Remera Buffalos added that his team will organize a one-day 7s tournament after the meeting.

"The league went well for us as we managed to defend our title,” he noted.
