Steven Hagumintwari has joined Tigers Basketball Club on a two-year deal, switching from Patriots, a club for which he had played since 2014.

At 32, Hagumintwari is recognised as one of the top forwards in the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL).

Tigers Basketball Club president, Francis Shyaka, confirmed to Times Sport that the experienced power forward has officially signed with the team.

Last month, American-Rwandan point guard Antino Jackson, 29, also joined Tigers from APR on a two-year contract.

Hagumintwari is regarded as one of the good two-way players in the RBL, performing well on both ends of the court.
