The 2010 World Cup will be brought closer to home after New Times sports reporter Bonnie Mugabe won an all expense paid trip to South Africa in the first FIFA World Cup MTN Promotion that began two weeks ago.

Every week, two lucky winners will receive a fully paid trip to South Africa to watch one of the group matches.
Mugabe will travel to South Africa with another lucky winner Honore Niragire and will stay in South Africa for three days.

Andrew Rugege, MTN’s Chief Operations Officer congratulated the winners and asked them to be proud and distinguished ambassadors of Rwanda when they go to South Africa.

"When you join thousands of fans around the world in the stadium, tell them about our country and share our culture,” Rugege said.

A further seven tickets to the FIFA 2010 World cup, 15 Flat Screen TVs, 15 Motorbikes and hundreds of other prizes are to be won over the next three weeks.
