End of October, start of November—translation: no excuses to stay in. Kigali’s weekend calendar is stacked, from soulful worship to hip-hop sessions and Halloween chaos.

Wherever you land, expect good music, good energy, and maybe a ghost or two.

Murya Wacu, Muco Wacu

Cocobean hosts Murya Wacu, Muco Wacu this Friday, October 31, a night dedicated to rhythm, roots, and Rwandan pride. Amasho Band and Club Intwari promise a full set of live traditional and fusion music with drums, dance, and the kind of energy that makes you feel in home.

Tickets go for Rwf5,000, show starts at 7 p.m.

Ameer Yousif Alsiddig Solo Art Exhibition

Sudanese artist Ameer Yousif Alsiddig brings his latest works to Inkingi Arts Space for a solo exhibition running from October 31 to November 9. Expect an intimate evening of art, creativity, and cultural exchange at the opening reception starting 6 p.m. this Friday.

Boozy Beer pong Tournament

Game night gets competitive this Friday at Rooftop Ikawa Café. The Boozy Beer pong Tournament is back with rooftop views, cold drinks, and a Rwf100,000 prize for the winning duo.

Registration is Rwf10,000 and includes your first round. First game kicks off at 6:20 p.m.

Mic Tribe Vol. 2

Kigali’s underground scene takes the mic again this Saturday as Mic Tribe returns to Mundi Center for its second edition. Expect raw hip-hop, open cyphers, and heavy beats from acts like Angell Mutoni, Bushali, Bulldog, Trizzie 96, and more.

Tickets are Rwf7,000 in advance or Rwf10,000 at the gate. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Flag Football Run with NFL Veteran

Saturday afternoon brings a sporty twist with a flag football run at Zaria Court from 1 to 3 p.m., featuring retired NFL player Jeremiah Attaochu.

Entry is free—just bring your A-game and good energy.

Soul & R&B Sensation

Saturday night at Atelier du Vin belongs to the slow groove crowd. Ruff Cuts Entertainment presents Soul & R&B Sensation, featuring DJs Kadir Ruff Cuts, Nicolas Peks, and DJ Ry spinning timeless tunes from 8 p.m.

Tickets range from Rwf12,500 to Rwf25,000.

Kigali Car Free Day

Car free day returns this Sunday with cycling, jogging, skateboarding, aerobics, and free health screenings for noncommunicable diseases. The mass sports gatherings will take place at ULK Gisozi in Gasabo, Kigali Pele Stadium parking in Nyarugenge, and IPRC Kigali in Kicukiro from 7 to 10 a.m.

The main activity hub will be at Kigali Convention Centre–Kigali Heights.

Restoring Worship Experience

The Restoring Worship Experience is set for Sunday, November 2, at Camp Kigali, featuring Alarm Ministries, True Promises, and Apostle Mignone Kabera.

Gospel artist Jesca Mucyowera will debut her first two albums during the event. Known for songs like Yesu Arashoboye and Jehovah Adonai, Mucyowera has spent four years working on the albums, making this her first major live performance. The event runs from 4 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are priced at Rwf5,000 for regular entry, Rwf10,000 for VIP, Rwf20,000 for VVIP, Rwf25,000 for a VVIP table, and Rwf200,000 for a table of ten.
