He underscored that as Rwanda’s leading Datacenter, their engineering team is dedicated to delivering facilities that meet global standards for reliability and scalability. They specialise in ICT integration through advanced datacenter engineering from architectural design, construction, to operational handover.

"We strengthen institutional performance through a tailored Software-as-a-Service system, including the Government Smart Admin System (GSAS)— a platform that redefines public sector workflow through digital collaboration and operational transparency,” he noted, emphasizing the company’s alignment with Rwanda’s Vision 2050, aiming to drive digital inclusion, economic competitiveness, and institutional modernization.

Dan Gasangwa, Chief Marketing Officer at AOS, highlighted that the company offers a full suite of Cloud-based services, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

"We have Co-Location and Web Hosting services as part of our datacenter. But on top of that, we also have other services like Service Integration, to assess and integrate client network systems,” Gasangwa explained.

He underscored that all their operations are run locally, emphasizing their dedication to serving both the tech industry and economic revenue for the country. He noted their compliance with Rwanda’s Data Protection and Privacy Law, stressing that standard, security, and safety are their priority.

He explained that onboarding new clients can take less than 24 hours, reflecting the company’s efficiency and reliability.

"We want to empower young people,” he continued. "Most of our engineers are young, and we want to keep on pushing to have over 90 per cent young engineers.”

AOS operates multiple sites, including a Disaster Recovery Center, ensuring continuity of operations and ata security for clients. The company’s infrastructure complies with international standards, including the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) accreditations.

"In terms of security accessing out of the center, special permission is required. That is detailed in what we call a service level agreement,” he said.

"We have a department of Security and System Engineering. We have a group of experts who work specifically with different local authorities to make sure that we are compliant with everything.”

According to Dan Gasangwa, Chief Marketing Officer at AOS, the company supports both public and private institutions, ensuring the country’s digital transformation remains efficient, reliable, and secure.

According to Gasangwa, AOS has previously worked with private and key national institutions, including the Government of Rwanda, Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA), and the Rwanda ICT Chamber on projects aimed at expanding digital inclusion, empowering startups, and supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
