We are writing this letter to correct a few things in the articles written about the Kigali Heath Institue in The New Times of Tuesday, 22nd December 2009.

The Vice Rector in Charge of Academics and Research is called Kabagabo Chantal, not Kagabo

The article doesn’t reveal that the issue of lecturer shortage was among the issues discussed during the workshop on the skills gap that had the theme” The strategies to be adopted by Kigali Health Institute in addressing the quantitative and qualitative need of human resource in Rwandan health sector”, which was held Friday, 18th December 2009.

We thank The New Times for disseminating information that is of interest to the Rwandan population.
