La Jeunesse moved in to second position of Group B yesterday afternoon after thrashing Union FC 3-1 at Ferwafa playground.

The Nyamirambo based side, which was relegated from the top flight last season led after eight minutes through midfielder Jean Claude Kwizera but Union equalised five minutes before half time through Juvenal Gatabazi.

But striker Patrick Nemeye settled the tie for La Jeunesse with a second half brace in the 50th and 75th minute.
