Christmas festivities have been around for the past ages and now it’s around the corner again. Some people party and go dancing on Christmas, some visit friends or relatives. Faisal, an R’nB star and a Karaoke performer; "I will be performing at Serena- Gisenyi during the lunch and dinner hours, so I will be a bit busy on the day. I will be back to the hood on Boxing Day and that’s when I will make a toast with my family.”
Ziggy Double 5 is an artiste and radio presenter at City FM; "Well, I will be in bed morning time then have lunch with my family. When done, I will be out to some cool gardens with my sweetheart. I will then go performing in the night and that will be my Christmas day.”
Aline Gahongaire, a gospel artiste and actress; "Morning time, I will go for prayers. After lunch, I will visit some orphans in …, I’ve forgotten the name of the orphanage…. I will then feast with the street kids at my home in the evening till late.”
Diplomate is a renowned Rwandan rapper; "Christmas is not really my thing because am a Muslim. However if my buddies invite me, I will give them company for the day. I might perform in the night, but if I don’t, I will be out for fun.”
Pastor P is one of the country’s finest music producers; "On 24th I will go for prayers with my family and Christmas morning, in the kitchen preparing meals. I will have lunch with some orphans in Gatsata (a city suburb) with my ‘Narrow road’ crew and then party the rest of the day with my buddies.”
