Gisagara Volleyball Club opened the second week of the 2025/26 Rwanda Volleyball National League with a 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 17-25, 25-20) victory over Kepler VC in a thrilling encounter held on Friday, October 24, at Petit Stade in Kigali.
The southern-based giants, captained by Sylvestre Ndayisaba, came into the game with intent and took command early, winning the first two sets 25-22.
Kepler VC regrouped and responded strongly in the third set, claiming it 25-17 to narrow the gap. However, Gisagara regained their rhythm in the fourth and decisive set, winning it by 25-20 to secure their second victory of the season and return to Huye in high spirits.

Earlier in the women’s category, Kepler WVC earned their first win of the season after defeating East Africa University Rwanda (EAUR) WVC in straight sets (25-21, 25-17, 25-22).
Under the guidance of head coach Florien Siborurema, Kepler WVC bounced back impressively after losing their first match against APR WVC. Meanwhile, Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) suffered a surprise defeat in their opening fixture against Police WVC.
Police WVC, continued their strong form with a straight-set victory (25-15, 25-15, 28-26), even in the absence of their first setter, Iris Ndagijimana.
