Kigali’s made it clear this past week—the rainy season is here. But who says the party has to stop? I’m back with another weekend roundup of where the city’s fun spills over, from art and community to music, sports, and gospel.

FRVB Serie A

The 2025–2026 volleyball season returns to Petit Stade this weekend, kicking off tonight with two electrifying matches. RRA faces Police in the women’s category at 6 p.m., followed by Gisagara VC versus Kepler in the men’s at 8 p.m.

Tickets are Rwf 3,000 for regular entry and Rwf 5,000 for VIP.

Maison Inkindi 3rd Anniversary

Kigali’s fashion scene gathers at Maison Ubururu this Friday, October 24, to celebrate three years of Maison Inkindi. Expect a stylish evening filled with music, dance, and a 25 percent discount on all Maison Inkindi pieces.

Performers include Mazimpaka Prime, Sema Sole, Ella Rings, Bolingo Passy, Obah Muziki, DJ Chris Ruti, and Umudiho. Tickets go for Rwf 5,000 via 662700*1806#, but loyal customers buying more than two pieces get in free with a membership card.

Atmosfera: Dark Forest Edition

Saturday, October 25, brings the pulse of afrohouse back to Mundi Center’s Piazza for Atmosfera’s seventh edition. This time, the show taps into ancestral rhythm with the African Mirror drummers and Umutagara traditional dance crew.

Expect sets from Selekta Faba, Bill Ruzima, Grvndlvng, and DJ Laper, plus a special guest appearance by Kenya’s Ms. Mika. Tickets are Rwf 15,000 for general access and Rwf 25,000 for VIP.

Jesus Is Real Gospel Crusade

Faith takes center stage this weekend at Solace Ministries Guest House and Conference Center in Kacyiru. From Saturday to Sunday, October 25–26, the Jesus Is Real Gospel Crusade will gather worshippers for a two-day revival under the theme "Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever.”

Expect powerful sessions of worship, healing, and testimonies featuring pastors Edmond Kivuye and Meshack Rwandamura alongside singers Fred, Annabelle Umutesi, and Sangwa Serge.

Wellness Space

Saturday also marks the debut of Wellness Space, a new initiative by Live Well Rwanda focused on mental and emotional wellbeing. The session, themed "Taking Steps on Your Wellbeing Journey,” runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at 14 KG 636 St.

It features guided mindfulness practices and discussions with wellness experts Sabine Karekezi, Emmanuel Manirarora, and Janvier Muhire.

The Somnia Mix

Then on Sunday, October 26, Zaria Court becomes the stage for The Somnia Mix, a new immersive event by Project Somnia—the team behind Kwetu Sundays and Twilight Picnic. The experience blends art, music, and community under the stars, headlined by Burundian artiste SIJI, the man behind the viral hit KOMSA, performing in Rwanda for the first time. He’ll share the stage with Christopher, Rita the Violinist, and DJ Senshi.

Expect lounges, a Paint & Sip zone, and spontaneous jam sessions. Tickets range from Rwf 15,000 to Rwf 100,000.

Road to Impact

Renowned Adventist Choir, Ambassadors of Christ, will join The Way of Hope Choir for their "Road to Impact” concert on Sunday, October 26 at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (KCEV).

Organizers say the event will be more than just music—it’s a mission to draw young people and those feeling lost closer to God’s presence. Founded in 2012, The Way of Hope Choir has built its identity on praise, worship, and outreach, with most of its members under 30.

Tickets are priced from Rwf5,000 for regular, Rwf10,000 for VIP, Rwf15,000 for VVIP, and Rwf20,000 for Premium access.
