Ndayishimiye told Times Sport on return from Kenya recently that his form is attributed to his recovery from a knee injury which had ruled him out of action for close to one month.
"I am happy that I recovered successfully and scored goals for my country at the Challenge Cup in Kenya. I want to use my form to help Rayon Sport win the remaining league matches.
"I gained experience from this competition. I got to meet and play against very good defenders, a feat which helped to improve on my striking skills,” the 22-year-old said.
He added, "Now my aim is to bring that form from Cecafa into the local league. I hope I can help my club during the 2009/10 football league season,” Ndayishimiye said.
Ndayishimiye was Rwanda’s lead scorer with four goals, one goal behind tournament’s top scorer Mrisho Ngasa from Tanzania.
