Africans shouldn’t be used as guinea pigs

Editor,

The recent reports of the failed HIV ‘vaccine’ trials on Uganda women is yet another indication to where we are headed if our  leaders aren’t careful. Africans can’t keep being used as guinea pigs by western pharmaceuticals testing their yet unknown drugs.

If the West is genuinely interested in fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa, let them prescribe and administer the same drugs and regimen to their own citizens.

What is more frightening is that these ‘vaccine’ projects are spearheaded by the Walter Reid Hospital. This is a US Military hospital, whose core focus is biological weapons research.

Are our leaders aware of this? What becomes of the innocent women who were guinea pigs in this? Human Rights Watch et al, isn’t this a violation of people’s rights? Let’s hear your voice in this important issue.
