Since we are seriously getting ready for Christmas, today’s issue of The Children’s Times is bringing Christmas preparations to where you are.

Every year on Jesus’ birthday December 25th, millions of people all over the world celebrate. Christmas is a time when people remember the importance of the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus the son of God came to earth to take away the sins of the world.

For many children Christmas is a time to enjoy and be with family and friends. It’s also a time to share gifts and show others that you care. Just like Jesus cared for us we should also have a caring and sharing spirit within us.

As you read, enjoy all the Christmas stories and pictures and see how children around Kigali are preparing and enjoying this festive season.

Also understand the true meaning of Christmas and so that you can know what to tell others when they ask you what it means.

I cannot tell you everything good about Christmas inside today’s paper. However, what you can do is use your eyes to read all the stories and see all the pictures.

More is still coming, and The Children’s Times is happy and proud to bring this to all Rwandan children. Continue preparing and enjoy this festive season.
