European judicial terrorism inflicted on Rwandan leaders is now over.

Editor, I want to thank The New Times for breaking the news of the defections of Spanish judge Fernando Andreu’s witnesses, who had been used as pawns to harm Rwanda. There are many ‘professional’ detractors of post-genocide Rwanda, who seem to be paid to constantly badmouth Rwanda on the domestic and international scene.

Editor,

I want to thank The New Times for breaking the news of the defections of Spanish judge Fernando Andreu’s witnesses, who had been used as pawns to harm Rwanda.

There are many ‘professional’ detractors of post-genocide Rwanda, who seem to be paid to constantly badmouth Rwanda on the domestic and international scene.

A page has been turned. The French judge Jean Louis Bruguiere who indicted top Rwandan leaders has long since gone into oblivion and Franco-Rwandan diplomatic relations, severed in November 2006, are now restored.

Now, Spanish judge Fernando Andreu, whose phoney case indicting Rwandan leaders has now been shown to have been an unsavoury gimmick.
Viva Rwanda.
