The Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Joseph Habineza (right), has urged Rwandan students in the Diaspora to develop a culture of loving their country.

Habineza was speaking during an interactive ceremony at Hotel Alpha Palace yesterday.
He welcomed the students to Rwanda and thanked them for responding to the invitation, which was sent through embassies.

The students were invited by the government to discuss challenges the country is facing and to understand its vision.

The minister asked the students to always be proud of their country and be good ambassadors.

He advised them not to remain in America, Europe or any other part of the world where they are after their studies.

"We need you back home to implement what you have achieved either academically and experience in different fields in Rwanda,” he said.

The students attending the six-day meeting are from the US, Europe and Africa.

The meeting has been organised by the ministry in conjunction with the national youth council
