The sexual network is when a person has a sexual relationship with a set of individuals. This act has led to the increase in the spread of HIV AIDS. The concluded week was the World AIDS day and different measures to control its spread were looked into.

A lot of effort is needed to sensitize the public about the sexual network.  The different media channels such as print media and electronic media could boost the campaign of getting off the sexual network.

Use of pictures on billboards or running commercials on Television denouncing the act would be a great idea.
During the awarding of the best poster of World AIDS DAY by the US embassy in Kacyiru on 22nd March 2009, the deputy executive secretary of the National Commission for the fight against AIDS (CNLS) Antoine Semukanya said "There are many methods of communications aimed at changing behaviors but when the message is sent through pictures, it helps us to get the message using our eyes.”
Some people are on the sexual network but they do not know its dangers.

A married person sneaks  out on  his  partner and gets  what they  usually term a "side dish” as a way of fulfilling their sexual appetite  without  thinking that this so called "side dish " could  be having a steady  partner.

This act has led to high rate of HIV AIDS amongst married couples even if they had   tested negative when they were starting their marriage life.

Infidelity between married couples has to be discouraged by promoting the one love campaign.

Cohabiting couples should always get tested in order to know the status of each other because this solves the mystery of infecting one another.

I happened to ask my friend Benson what  he thought about the sexual network and all  he said "I’m scared now  I can’t trust anyone at all  because you can never no whether  your partner is not  having sexual relations with some one else.” Trust and faithfulness should be the key factors in a relationship.

Condom use can control the spread of HIV AIDS even when one is on the sexual network. During the World AIDS DAY celebration held in Nyamirabo on the 1st December 2009, the Minister of Sports and Culture Joseph Habineza encouraged condom use to avoid HIV transmission.

On and off sexual relationships and "one night stand” kind of relationships have created a wide scope on the spread of the deadly scourge. Concurrent multiple sexual relationships s and the availability of the antiretroviral treatment has led to HIV AIDS wide spread.

Getting off the sexual network is everyone choice so what is your take on this matter.
